New Brighton Together
Welcome to our Community Lounge, a space for everyone!
Chatting over coffee, tea and cake is a big part of our story. Come and relax in our lounge, meet new people, and build relationships within your community.
Whether connecting and sharing stories, learning something new, or just looking to have a laugh and enjoy your afternoon, there's something for you to take part in at Te Waka Aroha.

$12 fresh food, locally grown
Vegetable Co-op
Set yourself up for the week with nutritious, beautiful local fruit & veges with our Vege Co-op.
Pay just $12 and receive a delicious mix of fruit and vegetables, which can be picked up on Tuesdays between 12-5pm.
With a great team of volunteers the produce is packed into bags (thanks Stitch-o-mat for helping us achieve our plastic free goal) ready for pick-up every Tuesday.
We also have a shop of other fruit and vege to purchase.
Our vegie co-op began as a response to community need after the 2011 earthquakes. We work in partnership with Food Together to provide affordable fruit and vegie for our community.

Friday Singers
Friday Singers is exactly what it sounds like. If you love singing or are excited to learn, come along and meet other music lovers!
It is a singing and jam session – very casual – really a sing-a-long with a cup of tea. Musical instruments are very welcome.
All are welcome to join in with some old time favourites.
When: Friday at 1.30pm – 3.30pm. In the TWA lounge.
